Following several years together, the pair got engaged and eloped in 2012. Walker and Troy later became parents, welcoming sons West and Wolf.
Looking back on their relationship, Troy opened up about how she knew Walker was the one during a June 2021 episode of The Creative Couples Podcast.
“When we met and fell in love so quickly, we were babies. I was 21 and Andrew had just turned 25," she said. "I think the way that I would describe it is that I feel like I'm the best version of myself when I'm with Andrew, and we bring that out in each other.”
As for how Walker and Troy have maintained their relationship over the course of two decades, he shared his biggest takeaway during an interview with Entertainment Tonight in August 2019.

According to Troy, they crossed paths in Montreal when Walker was visiting from L.A. in 2004. At the time, she was working part-time at a gym's front desk in the West Island and his dad happened to be a member. Troy later came face-to-face with Walker when he stopped by to use the facility.
Despite being asked out by Walker several times during his visit back home, Troy explained that she didn’t want to get involved in a long-distance relationship. However, thanks to mutual friends, they ran into each other during a night out, conversed and “hit it off.”
“We hung out two days after that, and on day five, we went on a hiking trip to Mont-Tremblant together,” she recalled. “We both said we loved each other after five days, and that was 18 years ago.”

She shared details about her move during her appearance on The Creative Couples Podcast, explaining that they left Montreal after she graduated from college and that she “didn't think twice” about the decision.
“Ignorance is bliss. I didn't know,” Troy said. “I was like, ‘Of course, I'll move to L.A. with you, that sounds awesome’ and I never really gave it any thought.”
Still, she explained that her first year in the new city "was tricky" and landing her job at a Canadian fashion company helped her settle in.
“I started being forced to travel,” Troy shared. “I started making my own friends and building my own life and I'd say after about a year, a year and a half is when I really got my footing.”
She worked in fashion for several years
While Walker landed gigs as an actor, Troy spent the beginning of her career in fashion.

Troy told Canadians Abroad in February 2019 that she was assigned the state of California as her territory while doing sales for the brand.
She and Walker eloped in 2012
Nearly 10 after they first met, Walker and Troy eloped on June 7, 2012, at San Francisco City Hall in lieu of an elaborate wedding ceremony.
During their conversation on The Creative Couples Podcast, they shared the backstory behind the proposal. Walker explained that after several years of dating, he was shooting a movie in Canada and realized he wanted to ask Troy to marry him in Kluane National Park, calling it “the most perfect place.”

Instead of his original plan of flying in an airplane around a mountain, the couple wound up taking a hike together in the national park. It was there that Walker proposed to Troy, sans a ring, as the actor hadn’t found the perfect emerald ring yet, opting for a ring box that contained only a piece of string.
“It was really sweet, because we basically had this private, quiet time together, where we couldn't be celebrating and talking to other people and it was really lovely,” Troy recalled.
The pair were engaged for three years, with Troy sharing that she “had no intention of planning a wedding” and would joke with Walker that if he planned their nuptials, she “would show up in a white dress.”
Ultimately, the couple decided to elope two days before Walker's birthday and use the money they saved from not hosting a wedding party to help fund a future business venture.
They share two kids
Walker and Troy are parents to two children. They welcomed their older son, West Byron Walker, in July 2015. Their family expanded again with the birth of their younger son, Wolf Reinhard Walker, in December 2019.

In a 2020 interview with the blog Fashion Mamas, Troy opened up about the most rewarding and challenging aspects of being a mother.
At the time, she described the gratifying moments as “the unconditional love, the constant humbling moments, and especially the sense of accomplishment knowing that I'm truly a bad-ass because I created two little human lives.”
As for the more difficult moments, Troy revealed that she aimed to have “uncomfortable conversations until they [stopped] being uncomfortable.”
“Disciplining with compassion and remaining a united front with my husband when we discipline,” she added about their parenting approach.
She is the co-founder of a juice company
Though Walker pursued acting and Troy focused on fashion, they came together for a side passion project. In 2013, the couple co-founded the cold-pressed juice company, Little West, previously known as Clover Juice.

During an April 2021 interview with Shoutout LA, Troy reflected on her career pivot, telling the publication that “after several years in the fashion biz, which I loved, I always felt my true calling was in the food industry inspiring people to live healthier lives.”
Thanks to money saved from their low-key wedding and investments from friends and family, their venture began in 2013 with a small juice shop located in L.A., which eventually became the juice partner at Coachella for several years. In 2016, they closed their retail shops to focus more on their wholesale business and, two years later, rebranded to Little West.
Troy spoke to Canadians Abroad in February 2019 about whether being married to her business partner made it easier or more challenging to run a business, to which she said, “Yes to both.”
“Some days it’s easier, and some days it’s harder,” she explained. “We've learned to communicate really well and continually remind each other to 'stay in our own lane.' The lines sometimes get blurred, but mostly we're able to make it work and have fun doing it.”
She's proud of what Walker has accomplished
In addition to raising two children and running a business together, Troy shows her support for Walker in other ways.
