Warning! This post contains SPOILERS for The Mandalorian season 3, episode 4Katee Sackhoff's Bo-Katan Kryze makes an important decision about the Mythosaur she saw in The Mandalorian season 3, episode 4. Mandalorians are never safe, even when they're part of a covert; the remote locations they tend to hide in mean they're subject to predators. Bo-Katan Kryze was already well aware of this truth, and it is reinforced in The Mandalorian season 3, episode 4, when she participates in a rescue mission after a Foundling is taken by a raptor.
This rescue mission serves as something of a bonding exercise for the Mandalorians, with Bo-Katan realizing she truly is accepted among the Children of the Watch - given she led the mission. Bo-Katan's armor was damaged during the rescue, and she is honored for her victory by receiving a new piece of armor forged by Emily Swallow's Armorer. Bo-Katan chooses to honor the Mythosaur of Mandalore by having this insignia forged on her armor.

Bo-Katan's Mythosaur Symbol Shows How She Is Changing
Bo-Katan lost a shoulder pauldron during the hunt, and the Armorer offered to forge Bo-Katan a new one made of pure beskar steel. However, Bo-Katan requested a new sigil rather than simply replicating the Nite-Owl, the symbol of her former clan. Instead, Bo-Katan asked for the skull of the mythosaur, a signal freely worn by any Mandalorian regardless of their clan or creed due to its overarching reverence and status as a symbol of honor for their entire race. The choice undoubtedly references Bo-Katan's recent encounter with one of the beasts, long thought to have been extinct.
Ancient prophecies predict that the return of the Mythosaur will herald a new age for Mandalore. The glimpse of the Mandalorian Mythosaur appears to have restored Bo-Katan's faith in The Mandalorian season 3; she had always longed to see her people reunited, but gave up after failing to reclaim the Darksaber. Bo-Katan's choice, requesting a Mythosaur sigil for her armor, is a major sign she is evolving. It's possible this means she will renew her crusade to reclaim and reunify Mandalore; alternatively, it may mean she believes the time is at hand, and someone else will lead.
Is Bo-Katan Going To Join The Children Of The Watch?
Bo-Katan has been welcomed into the Children of the Watch. It seems likely she will choose to stay with them for the long term. After all, she was once a member of their predecessor during the Clone Wars which was then known as Death Watch, a group of extremists she ended up leaving after it was taken over by Palpatine's former apprentice Darth Maul. It's also interesting to note the Armorer recognized Bo-Katan as soon as she saw her, perhaps hinting the two have history.
Regardless, Bo-Katan may call upon her new allies to follow her with a renewed purpose to reclaim Mandalore, presumably after she convinces them of what she saw in the Living Waters. Because Bo-Katan has yet to remove her helmet in front of others, the Armorer claimed she'd be one of them so long as she followed the ancient "Way of the Mandalore" which they all strictly adhere to. As such, it stands to reason Bo-Katan will remain a Child of the Watch for as long as possible, working to reclaim the lost homeworld.

Bo-Katan's Mythosaur Symbol Sets Up Her Becoming The Mand'alor
The symbol of the Mythosaur is venerated by all Mandalorians, and Bo-Katan's decision to claim the sigil of the Mythosaur is a strong reminder of what she's fighting for. It's a tangible acknowledgment of what she saw, and the significance of the Mythosaur as a unifying influence for the Mandalorians. Bo-Katan has previously complained about the division among her people, which she felt made them too weak to defend themselves against the Empire; now she has seen the fabled beast of prophecy.
The Mandalorian season 3, episode 4 sees Bo-Katan finally begin to talk about the Mythosaur, telling the Armorer what she saw. Even the Armorer doesn't believe her, instead assuming she simply saw a vision in the Living Waters of Mandalore. Bo-Katan will need to prove the truth if she is to step forward and become the new Mand'alor, by right of riding the Mythosaur. If she can do so, then The Mandalorian season 3 will be the beginning of the restoration of Bo-Katan's people.
